Hillary Clinton's campaign manager blames Russia for y'all knowing about those damn emails
Hillary Clinton’s (the Hills) campaign manager, Robby Mook, says its Russia’s fault y’all know about those damn emails where some Democratic National Committee (DNC) folks were bad mouthing Sen. Bernie Sanders (ol’ Uncle Bernie there).
DNC CFO Brad Marshall wrote an email with the subject titled “No Shit.”
In the “No Shit” email, Marshall is quoted as saying, “It might may no difference, but for Kentucky and West Virginia can we get someone to ask his belief. Does he believe in a God. He had skated on saying he has Jewish heritage. I think I read he is an atheist.”
Marshall also wrote that his “peeps,” bible toting Southern folks, would love to know whether or not Sanders believes in a higher power.
During an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday, Jake Tapper asked Mook about the “No Shit” email and what he thought about the CFO questioning Sanders’ faith.
Mook, who never answered the latter part, responded, “Again, I don’t think it’s very coincidental that they’re [emails] being released at this time to create maximum damage on Hillary Clinton and to help Donald Trump.”
Tapper asked Mook if he believes that the Russians gave Wikileaks the emails in order to help Donald Trump become the 45th president of the United States.
Mook told Tapper that his [Mook] thoughts about the Russians being the ones to blame were backed up by “the experts.”
Mook said to Tapper, “Well, this isn’t my assertion. There are number of experts that are asserting this. I think we need to get to the bottom of these facts… Experts have said that it is the Russian that in fact went in and took these emails, and then if they are the ones who took them we have to infer that they are the ones releasing them.”
Just as Mook must infer that the Russians snitched on Team Hillary and the DNC, I must infer that some folks at the DNC wrote the emails in order to help Team Hillary.
And the evidence in this pudding lies in Mook’s implication that Russia is to blame, not for hacking the DNC's computer system, but for everybody knowing that some folks at the DNC were bad mouthing ol’ Uncle Bernie Sanders there in order to give the Hills a leg up.
As for Sanders’ view about this situation, he sees it as validation of his claim that the DNC was Team Hillary’s crew all along.
Sanders told Tapper, “Well I think it’s outrageous, but it is not a great shock to me. I think, as I said, it’s what we talked about six months ago. I mean, there are no questions in my mind. And I think, no question in any objective observers mind that the DNC was supporting Hillary Clinton and was in opposition to our campaign.”
